8 MILES AWAY COLLECTION BY TONY MILLS - SELECT PRINTS @£30 each
Local artist and Artist of the Year 2024 Tony Mills was inspired to create a collection of eight paintings in response to the poise, calmness and resilience of a homeless person living in a bus shelter near his home. The collection - entitled 8 Miles Away - was named after the first painting and refers to the lights of the wind farm, eight miles out in the sea behind where he slept, which ironically generates warmth for over 400,000 homes. The originals sold for charity in 2020, but giclee prints are available online sized from A5 to A1 on his website and he kindly donates proceeds to Sussex Nightstop. You can also buy these prints in A4 size from our open house.
