Artist Notes: Karla is a Canadian hand‑knitter based in Brighton whose love of knitting and lobsters runs deep. Inspired by a grandmother who knit the family’s clothes and a lobsterman poppy on the shores of Placentia Bay, these lobster‑in‑a‑sweater pieces are a playful reflection of childhood summers spent with them.
