Artist Notes: Myles paints portraits of birds, amongst other subjects, to help convey the details of their amazing plumage, colours and variety. An artist whose work encompasses still life, animal, abstract and landscape paintings and prints, a recurring theme is that of portraiture of both the animate and inanimate. He believes depiction of single subjects communicate their essence in a focussed way that more generic approaches cannot.
