Each year we think our business fundraiser can’t get any better, but our move to Concorde 2 for 2026 proved us wrong! The atmosphere was superb, the staff were so welcoming and, thanks to the fine folks at Moshimo + The Reading Room, we ate incredibly well too.
Returning teams included Build my Home, Filby Builders, IMEX, Mirkwood Evans Vincent, Mortgage Medics, Posh Totty, Trusted Housesitters and Responsible Travel. We welcomed Amity Studios, Learning Cog and Rickshaw Travel to the TRYathlon fold this year and they all brought their A game!
The event was sponsored by Daniel Associates and TravelBeat and our awards sponsors included Archangels Architects, Hive HR, Nicolas James Property and Orange Property – a huge thank you to them all for their support. Sponsors are vital to the event experience, which is focused very much on giving all our teams an excellent afternoon and evening.
As usual, the event started at Yellowave with a beach volleyball tournament. The balmy 32 degrees heat made for a mix of relaxed competition, cold beers, ice cream and for some, a brief dip in the sea. Build my Home were victorious.
A hop over the road to the welcoming chill of Concorde 2 and while our teams enjoyed canapes and drinks, we started the quiz. Competition got seriously heated, with each team determined to take the stage for the three team final, which included IMEX, Mirkwood Evans Vincent and Responsible Travel, who took the crown.
Our third event is always surprising… the cake off! The theme this year was youthful nostalgia – a broad theme that inspired some incredible cakes, with themes spanning gaming, music and of course, the iconic Barbie!
So, how did the teams fare? Here’s our roundup:
IMEX won the cake-off with their Minecraft cake, Build My Home were victors in volleyball and Responsible Travel won the quiz trophy.
TRYathlon 2026 winners were Mirkwood Evans Vincent, with runners up Amity Studios and IMEX.
A rather lovely introduction to the event this year was a Nightstop video, created by Eduardo Benfatti of Wolf Pack Videos which you can now view on YouTube.
A big thank you to everyone involved in making the evening such a success, including our cake judges from Cloud9 and our other fantastic volunteers. Together we raised over £5,000 for Sussex Nightstop.
