A great start to 2022

What a great way to start the year, with an incredibly generous donation from FABS – Fleet Alliance Benefits & Social team, who raised an incredible £1,250 for Sussex Nightstop.

I asked Fiona Irving, Marketing Executive what made them choose Sussex Nightstop as a beneficiary for their fundraising efforts:

“Charity and community are two of the fundamental aspects and core values of Fleet Alliance. And behind all this is our enthusiastic team, based in Uckfield and Glasgow, who are dedicated to making a difference and supporting those in need. With the rising number of people homeless or at risk of homelessness in our local community, it was at this difficult time of year and more than ever, we wanted to support Sussex Nightstop. The commitment, passion and focus from Fleet Alliance staff this year has meant we could donate such a significant amount to the team at Sussex Nightstop and we hope it will make a considerable difference to the good work they continue to do.”

Rest assured that your support will make a big difference to us indeed. As our Executive Director, Alison Marino put it:

“We would not be able to do the work we do without the support of the whole community including donations like this from local businesses.
Through our volunteer hosting model, our Sussex Nightstop mission is to ensure that young people can sleep safely at night, avoid the risks of rough-sleeping, and ultimately secure a safer, more suitable place to call home. The generosity of the Fleet Alliance team have made that mission all the more possible”.

Thank you so much to each and every member of FABS!
