Opening your door to hope: hosting with Nightstop

In a world where youth homelessness continues to rise, small acts of kindness can make a life-changing difference. Nightstop offers a unique way for members of our caring and diverse community to respond with compassion and a spare room.

By becoming a Volunteer Host, you provide a safe, welcoming space for young people facing homelessness. These individuals come from a wide range of backgrounds, including various faiths, LGBTQ+ identities, and ethnicities. While we deeply value hosts who reflect this diversity, what truly matters is your kindness.

Whether you live alone, with family, or with a partner, your home can be a haven. Hosting is flexible, rewarding, and supported every step of the way. You’ll join a network of compassionate people making a real impact – one night at a time.

Hosting opens your eyes to the different lives out there. You never know who’s coming and whether you’ll get on, but we no longer worry about that as all our experiences have been good. The support is brilliant and you never feel on your own. It’s great that the Nightstop service works so quickly…. the best thing is when a guest tells you they’re getting the keys to their new home.

Together, we can offer not just shelter, but hope.
