Artist Notes: Contemporary abstract oil painting using simple modern design, where accurate representation is bypassed to allow the viewer space for exploration and interpretation.
This painting is inspired by the Santorini coastline and sea at night. Using oil paint in thin transparent glazes and rich colours, a luminous quality is created to complement the subject theme perfectly.
