Your business could help us tackle homelessness in Brighton & Hove

In 10 years, our Nightstop volunteer hosts have supported over 500 young people. And this community response to homelessness works:

  • 90% of young people who stay with Nightstop go on to find a more suitable home; re-uniting with their family where it is safe to do so
  • 42% of young people staying with Nightstop are in work, education or training; staying with us enables them to keep these essential activities going, laying their own foundations for the future

Sussex Nightstop recruits, checks and trains local people to become volunteer hosts; enabling them to open up their homes and
provide a safe, warm place to sleep for young people who are exposed to the risks of rough-sleeping and the real dangers that go with it.
Our volunteer hosts offer kindness and practical support at a crisis point and when people are at their most vulnerable.

Your support, one-off and regular donations will all help a young person in crisis by enabling us to:

  • Cover placement expenses including safe travel to and from the host home
  • Recruit, train and support a pool of committed volunteers
  • Maintain a safe, high-quality service that deploys skilled staff in the support of vulnerable young people in complex situations
  • Invest in activities that improve the long-term sustainability of Nightstop – ensuring we continue our work for another 10 years
